Photo Tip: Parallax problems
While 35 mm SLR cameras are adequate for making images of architecture, I personally use 6 x 7 format cameras, both rangefinder and SLR. The best cameras are those with a tilting back or front which corrects parallax distortion. Some better brands of 35 mm lens offer these vertical and horizontal movements, and will correct this distortion. They can sometimes be picked up secondhand at reasonable cost.
Around Australia: (Mount Wellington)
Mount wellington has numerous boardwalks that provide a safe platform from which to photograph the amazing vista across Hobart.
