Fols the virtual shoot seems to have died from lack of interest. And so I propose a slight change in direction to themed images.

This is where all may contribute a similar image to the one post as opposed to the gallery which is for individual posts. Therefore lots of sunrises or wildlife shots or whatever based on the op, and related commentry such as discussion on technique captured in one post. This makes it easy to compare and discuss techniques for similar types of images in the one place. This is not going to be Maz friendly however as these sorts of threads can become long.

Check here to see how this works: http://www.dyxum.com/dforum/dyxum-theme ... rum33.html

If this is considered a good idea then maybe we can petition Em to make the change to the unused Virtual Shoot part of the forum.

I like the idea of a Virtual shoot - can we not revive it? Surely it was much the same thing, you post pics on a topic?

How about an alphabet theme - that would keep us going for 26 weeks. We could start with A for this week and proceed on after that.

How bloody simple! Like the alphabetical theme Odille suggested, Keith. We could have some real fun with that and could plan throughout the year when we take pics and put them aside for the appropriate week.

With the senses of humour on this site, I reckon we could have a whole sh..load of laughs with it... he he he.....

Love
Maz.

There's one for H, Maz, except how do you photography humour? An interesting exercise. Do we have to wait for approval or can we gate started on 'A'. If we let each one run a fortnight we have enough for the year (as it is Feb we can compress some of the less common ones like XYZ and Q with R, but they are down the track a bit.

Now . . . something beginning with A?

A is for Avocado tree! This was the very very first frame I shot with my H2 kit when it arrived. The tree is right by the garage door. And I am trying to find an Abyssinian cat to photograph - we can put in more than one shot?

Image

I hope we can - and for the fruit , of course. Fresh cut! Yum yum.

About time to change over to B, I think. Should we just continue here or start a new thread?

How do you usually do it?

Come on you lot, where are you 'B' photos! You have until the end of next week, then it will be 'C'.

Get snapping!

I found the other section where you have virtual shoots and I have restarted the 'B' topic there, so please post any pics there from now on.
