In April 2010 we implemented moderation on the site to try and remove spam posts before they appear on the forum.

All new users will have their first five posts moderated. This means they will not appear on the site until they have been approved. Sorry for the inconvenience, and confusion this can cause, but we have proven this reduces the amount of spam.

I think all new users get their first five places were monitored. This means that they will not appear on the pages before they are approved... I have faced same problem..
